"How Do I Cleanse Myself and Why?"

Everything has an energy. People, plants, places, things. That is why when you are some where like a room full of people who love one another, a club where everyone is having a great time, or a spiritual gathering, you can feel the high vibes. The same goes for a room where two people were just arguing (especially if you were one of those people). The vibrations usually linger within you long after leaving those people and places, leaving you buzzing with energy (positive, or negative). 

How do you know you need a cleanse? Your mood is off, you are excessively fatigued or uninspired or unmotivated. The symptoms of your mental health are feeling exasperated. You or your space feels "funky" or "off" or stagnant. Post-break-up, or post any other difficult or traumatic experience is also a really important time to cleanse.

Here is a simple cleansing technique you can do in the shower. Take a shower as your normally would, washing your hair and body well. Once finished, switch the water to ice cold. The colder the better!! Put yourself under the water, allowing it to wash over your head and down your body. Scrub it into your scalp, your hair, your third eye and any other areas that intuitively need more attention. As the water washes over you, visualize it removing any energies that are not in your highest alignment. I like to visualize the water pulling big plugs out of my body and aura, kind of like a Biore strip. Watch as the energies detach from your being and swirl down the drain. You can ask the good spirits that surround you to assist, if that's your kind of thing. Upon completion, turn of the water and pat yourself and air dry or dry gently with a towel.
