I'm a proud member of the Itty Bitty Titty Committee, and while it has its perks (what's a bra?), my boobs could be perkier. I've contemplated breast augmentation with a lift in the past, but after the doctor explained the potential scarring, I decided against it. Some people's scars fade beautifully, but as a woman of color, my scars stick around for a while; I'm still rocking the one on my knee from a rollerblading accident at 11 years old. Besides, it's not actually their size that I mind; it's where they sit. I just want my boobs up to my chin — is that too much to ask?
